I found no hotel inside Givat Shmuel with its own website. Hebrew Wikipedia mentions an apartment hotel in Ramat Ilan HaHadasha, but I could not find its name or a site, and a planned 100-room boutique hotel on HaEtrog St is still only a plan. So visitors stay in the neighbouring cities, 1.5 to 5 km away, or in private rentals.

- Bnei Brak (about 1.5 km): the Aristocrat Hotel, 16 Damesek Eliezer St, 70 rooms, Badatz Rav Landau mehadrin kashrut, its own synagogue and banquet halls; popular for Shabbatot and family simchas (hotel site (נפתח בכרטיסייה חדשה)).
- Petah Tikva (about 2 km): Prima Link, 4 Mota Gur St, 169 rooms on floors 14-19 of a tower by Ofer Mall, next to Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson). Kosher (Petah Tikva Rabbinate), with a synagogue and a Shabbat elevator, and close to the Red Line (hotel site (נפתח בכרטיסייה חדשה)).
- Ramat Gan (about 4-5 km):
- Roxon Urban, 1 Krinitzi St, 126 rooms with a spa, near Bialik St (hotel site (נפתח בכרטיסייה חדשה)).

Bar-Ilan short stays
Bar-Ilan's International School books short-term dorm stays from a few weeks up to six months, first come, first served; yearly dorm contracts run October to September through the operator (dorms (נפתח בכרטיסייה חדשה)).
Short-term rentals
Most short visits to family here are in private apartments listed on the big rental sites. I don't review individual hosts. Search by neighbourhood: Ramat Hadar and the Old side (Ben Gurion, HaNasi, Yoni Netanyahu Sts) are walkable to shuls and shops; Ramat Ilan and HaShachar are closest to Bar-Ilan and the Route 4 intercity buses.
Shabbat stays
If you are staying in a hotel for Shabbat, check the walking distance to your hosts: there are no buses or light rail on Shabbat, and the Bnei Brak and Petah Tikva hotels are roughly a 20-30 minute walk from most of Givat Shmuel.
